A little about me..
Promise I’m not playing tricks on you
You’re always welcome to come in
— Alec Benjamin
Hello everyone! My name is Parker, I was born and raised in Alaska and am the oldest of four. I come from a big family and enjoy traveling all around the state camping and visiting different family cabins. I am studying Culinary Arts, but I am taking this year off and working full time. I enjoy taking photos, going for late night drives and hanging out with my sweet, one year old nephew.
My taste in music is pretty wide ranging, from oldies rock to country and pop, classical and alternative. I am looking forward to learning about more music through this class and discovering new options. I gained an appreciation for music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s on road trips and days at the lake with my parents. My cousins and friends introduced me to pop and country. It wasn’t until I had the tools to discover music on my own that I found alternative music. In school I was introduced to classical and cultural music showing me a different side of music and proving that lyrics can sometimes be the least important part.

I love those midnight sunsets. I wasn’t familiar with Alec Benjamin. From what I heard, I’m sure he’s probably pretty big in the pop music world.

Hello, Parker. My name is Brianne. I love the picture of the midnight sky sunset. Sunsets and sunrises are my favorite things to take pictures of. I can relate to being (technically, since I have an older brother that I’ve never grown up with) the eldest sibling. I thought that Alec Benjamin’s “Must Have Been The Wind” was very pretty, but sad. I’m not certain, but I think I may have heard him sing before.

I like that you have a wide range in music. Everybody should be open to all kinds of music.
